Privacy policy
What Freitas Plumbing Corp. collects when you use this website, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted.
Effective September 20, 2026
The short version
We collect what you type into the contact form so that a technician can call you back about your sewer or plumbing problem. We do not sell it, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site. Analytics only run if you accept cookies.
Who we are
Freitas Plumbing Corp. operates this website at https://freitasplumbing.com. For any privacy question, or to ask us to delete your information, contact hello@freitasplumbing.com or call (914) 772-4348. A postal address for written notices is available on request.
What we collect
Information you give us
The enquiry form on our contact page is provided and hosted by HighLevel, Inc. It runs inside a
frame on our page, which means what you type into it goes directly to HighLevel and is governed by
their processing as well as this policy. Loading that form sets cookies from
link.freitasplumbing.com that HighLevel uses to operate it and to link your submission to
your visit. This happens because the form is the thing you came to use, so it is not placed behind the
cookie banner. If you would rather not use it, call or email us instead and we will take the details
that way.
When you submit the inspection request form we collect your name, phone number, email address, the property address or town, the property type, what the line is doing, how urgent it is, and any notes you add. We also record which page you submitted from and the time you submitted, which helps us respond in the right order.
If you call or email instead, we keep the contact details and the details of the job you describe.
Information collected automatically
If you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 records standard usage information: pages viewed, roughly how long you stayed, the type of device and browser, the approximate region you visited from, and whether you arrived from a search engine, a link, or directly. Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation. If you decline cookies, no analytics are loaded at all and none of this is collected.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. These are not used to build a profile of you.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for payment card numbers, bank details, or government identification numbers through this website. We do not run advertising or social media tracking pixels, and nothing here profiles you or follows you to other websites. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Why we use it
- To respond to your request and schedule an inspection or a visit.
- To prepare a written scope of work and quote.
- To keep records of work performed, which we and you may both need later, including for warranty or insurance purposes.
- To meet legal, permitting, and record-keeping obligations.
- If you accept cookies, to understand which parts of the site are useful so we can improve it.
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- HighLevel, Inc. (GoHighLevel) hosts both the enquiry form embedded on our contact page and the customer relationship system that stores our record of your enquiry.
- Vercel Inc. hosts this website and processes server logs.
- Google LLC provides Google Analytics, but only where you have accepted cookies.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to our insurers or professional advisers, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for up to two years and then deleted. Records relating to work we actually performed are kept for at least seven years, because plumbing work carries long-tail warranty, insurance, and liability considerations. Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site uses very few.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Set when |
|---|---|---|---|
freitas_consent | Local storage, not a cookie | Remembers your choice so we stop asking. It never leaves your browser and is not sent to us. | Always. Strictly necessary, cannot be turned off. |
_ga, _ga_* | Cookie | Google Analytics. Distinguishes one visitor from another so we can count visits. | Only after you select Accept. Nothing is loaded if you decline. |
| HighLevel form cookies | Cookie, third party | Set by link.freitasplumbing.com to run the enquiry form and attach your submission to your visit. | On the contact page only, when the form loads. It is the service you asked for, so it is not gated. |
You can change your choice at any time using the link, which also appears in the footer of every page. Declining costs you nothing. The site works identically either way.
Your rights
Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@freitasplumbing.com and we will respond within 45 days.
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including Connecticut, California, Colorado, and Virginia, have specific rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to appeal a refusal. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising or profiling, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front, but you are welcome to confirm that with us in writing.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted. Access to the customer record system is limited to people at Freitas Plumbing Corp. who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we do not retain the categories of data that make a breach catastrophic.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page for at least 30 days.
