Accessibility statement

Our aim

Freitas Plumbing Corp. wants this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or reduced motion settings. We have built it against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

What that meant in practice

• Text and background colours are tested to meet or exceed the AA contrast ratio. Nothing on the site renders below 13px, and body text is 15px and up.
• Every interactive control can be reached and operated with a keyboard, including the drag comparison slider, which also responds to arrow keys.
• Focus outlines are visible and never suppressed.
• Animation is disabled automatically for visitors whose system requests reduced motion.
• Technical diagrams carry text descriptions of what they show rather than a decorative label.
• The site reflows to a single column on small screens with no horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

The detailed section drawings convey their meaning through their text descriptions rather than through the artwork itself. We think the descriptions carry the full meaning, and we would like to hear from you if they do not.
